Q:  How long does it take to read a finger print?

A: Approximately 2 seconds

Q:  What happens if my one of my employees injure their clock in finger?

A: When uploading an employee fingerprint onto the system, two fingerprint templates are enrolled incase of such an incident. Therefore allowing the employee  to use the second fingerprint.

Q:  How many fingerprints templates can I enrol on a single fingerprint reader?

A: Depending on the fingerprint time clock reader it can range from 500 to 48,000 fingerprint templates.

Q:  Is the fingerprint database somehow connected to the SAPS?

A: No, our systems are in no way connected to any other institution.

Q:  How reliable is your software?

A: Our software has been tried and tested at all levels. It comes with full technical support to ensure that your business runs smoothly. 

Q:  What technical support does Timewatch offer?

A: We offer telephonic, email and call out support.

Q:  Is there anyway to bypass the system and steal someone's identity?

A: No, all fingerprints are unique unlike prior systems

Q:  With which payroll systems is Clockwatch compatible?

A: Clockwatch is compatible with most payroll systems, including VIP, Pastel and Quickbooks only to mention a few more recognized programs but we are able to modify our software to integrate with most other systems.

Q:  What is the difference between Clockwatch and CWbio?

A: Clockwatch deals with time and attendance data and can be used to calculate the hours worked by a specific employee whilst CWbio maintains the fingerprint template of your company.

Q:  I have a small company. Would a fingerprint reader be excessive?

A: A fingerprint reader ensures that employers receive accurate information in terms of hours worked by employees, preventing identify theft which is common in system that make use of cards for access control and time & attendance.
